  • ○Inputs — No

General chat, document/file upload and analysis, image generation, voice, web browsing/deep research and memory (ChatGPT plan pages); none of these connect to farm records, elevator accounts, equipment data or field maps unless the farmer pastes or uploads the data manually. 'No' in the farm-capability columns means no built-in farm integration, not that a farmer cannot ask the chatbot about those topics. Note the enum value 'farm-software-only company' is used only because no enum value fits; these are general technology companies.

What the AI doesGeneric assistant — General chat; no connection to farm records unless the farmer pastes or uploads them.

Your data

Who owns it, who sees itOpenAI's consumer Privacy Policy (updated Sept 10, 2026) states 'We don't "sell" Personal Data,' says it may use your content to train the models behind ChatGPT unless you turn off training in Data Controls (Temporary Chats are excluded), and shares data with vendors, affiliates, select marketing partners via cookies (opt-out available), and authorities when required.
Can you leave with it?? Data export and deletion terms not yet researched; scheduled for the next review.

The first line is our paraphrase of the vendor's policy; the linked document in Sources is what governs.

StatusActive. These are NOT farm-specific products: no vendor-published agronomy validation, no integration with farm records, elevator accounts or equipment, and no ag-specific support. Pricing above is for ChatGPT only as a representative example; Claude and Gemini publish their own tiers. By default consumer ChatGPT conversations may be used for model training unless the user opts out, which matters for farmers pasting financial or field data. Prices and model names on these plans change frequently; chatgpt.com/pricing is the authoritative page.

Accessed on the dates shown. Prices are from OpenAI's own blog post and help center, but the live pricing page's dollar figures did not render on fetch so the current Pro tier structure ('three usage tiers') could not be priced exactly; OpenAI founding year and HQ are general knowledge, not from a fetched page; capability flags describe absence of farm integrations rather than vendor claims.
